Why can’t we have Sport Cars on Indian Roads?
As we all know that India is a developing country, hence the demand for homegrown sport cars isn’t so hot, and therefore there isn’t any supply. Making of a sport cars requires a lot of testing and development, and this eventually means investment, and the car manufacturers we have in India like Tata, Mahindra and Force are low-scaled. Only DC has managed to launch a sport Car, Avanti, whose sale was unfortunately very less. Are there any other reasons why Indian Roads don’t have any sport cars? Yes!!! There are quite a few more reasons behind this. For being a sports car the one of the most important thing is its body design. In order to run at higher speed its body design should be aerodynamic but the condition of Indian Roads(speed breakers,pits,etc) do not allow the manufacturers to build such cars with low ground clearance.
